Red Feather Lakes Red Quartz Pay Dirt (*Limited Edition*)
With Diamond Mountain's Limited Edition Pay Dirt series, we are "Bringing the Mine to YOU!"
Our Limited Edition Red Feather Lakes Red Quartz Pay Dirt brings you a genuine crystal mining adventure at Colorado's Red Feather Lakes, in the comfort of your own home! Red Feather Lakes is famous for world-class finds of bright red hematite-affected quartz crystals. Their unique color has led these crystals to become highly sought-after in the mineral world. Inside each box of Red Quartz Pay Dirt you'll find a variety of mine-direct red quartz from Colorado, including single points and clusters. In addition to their gorgeous red color, some quartz pieces may be doubly terminated, or show elestial formations and/or phantoms!
Pay dirt is the perfect mining-at-home activity for kids, and, kids at heart!
Instructions:
Our limited edition Pay Dirt from Red Feather Lakes arrives in a 5x5x5 inch box, with a bag of crystal-filled dirt inside! We suggest pouring your Pay Dirt onto a tray or into a bin to find the crystals with your hands, or, using a sifting screen to sift the crystals from the dirt. Once you find your crystals, wash them with a water, toothbrush, and any dish soap with a small brush to give them shine! To take your cleaning to the next level, crystals can be soaked in a solution of Iron Out rust remover for 24 hours to remove any undesired external yellow iron staining. Sift for your crystals, wash them, and enjoy!
